Brian C. Wood is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BC Wood Properties, After obtaining his BA in Finance and Management from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY, Brian began building single-family residential and multifamily rental units for resale and investment.

At just 22, he purchased a 31,000-square-foot retail shopping center, which he owned and managed while continuing to build and expand his construction business and residential rentals to 100 units. Through the process, Brian chose to focus on retail real estate and organized BC Wood Properties in 1994 to engage in the acquisition, ownership, management, and redevelopment of shopping centers. 

Brian is a Lexington native and is very active in the community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Transylvania University and the Advisory Board for Central Bank. Brian loves sports and has competed in four half Iron Man competitions and four marathons. He is an avid supporter of the University of Kentucky Athletics.
